Default MSD Blaster Coil Packs ?

Has anyone used these yet? and if so how well do they seem to work? Are they worth the money? let me know your thoughts before i spend this kind of money on these. thanks!

For anything less than a $15,000 race motor, I'm no so sure they're needed. If you have a weak coil, I would replace it with a new GM equivalent one.

was just thinking about replacing mine with these to go with new header back sys, lid, maf, bellow, tb, and man.

How can you check if they are weak or going bad? Can they be ohmed?

Spend your money on another mod., the factory coils are just fine.

What if you buy an engine and it doesnt come with the coil packs? I saw what i think was the MSD kit on Summit. like $70. But was that for all the coils or each? How much are oem coils for someone like me who wont have any at all?

people have reported better idle quality and better response out of the MSD coils. Do a search and see what you can find.

ebay. used and new take offs between 120-200 with brackets most of the time.

If I paid that much money for anything, I'd brag about it. I think we need to keep the placebo effect in mind here too.

I also read somewhere the GM truck coils were better, not sure of part number though.

Um my car is running. All I'm saying is throwing random dollars at your car on stuff that probably won't help it at all isn't the best way to go. And I don't recall talking ****?
