Default What cam with TSP Terminator heads?

I'm considering these heads. What cam would you guys use? I know the MS3 is gonna be a common answer, but what about others?
Trex v2
Patrick G cam

That's all nice, but reading what cam gurus like Patrick G have said, the MS3 is good for peak numbers but not so great for power under the curve, compared to even the Trex. That's the reason I'm asking. Peak is nice, but I've gotta actually drive this sucker.

I'd like to see a graph of terminator heads with a torquer v2 and ls6 intake.

I think this is what I'm going to end up going with eventually.

MS3 is the way to go, 490 is nasty power for a stock cube engine. If you could flycut i would say go with an MS4 cause i bet that would net over 500rwhp with the correct supporting mods and a good tune.

You think it would still leave streetable power with the MS3?
I could go with the MS4, but dang it's scary huge. I don't feel like changing springs every month.

Ive been talking to TSP, and oddly enough, they say that the MS4 is MORE streetable than the MS3. It has more midrange.

Ive read a couple reviews on here that claim the same thing.

Yeah the MS4 has the new LSK lobes on it which bring the power in a little bit earlier. It is a bigger cam but with those lobes the power is more spread out instead of just at high RPM's. But with the edelbrocks on there with the MS3 the power comes in a lot stronger at lower RPM's then when the cam is used in a cam only set up. The 200cc runner's gave the car incredible throttle response as well.

the ms4 will not fit with stock pistons, you will have to fly cut the pistons. i know trmin8r made over 480 to the wheels with those heads and ms3

I would stick with the cam you have in your sig unless you are only after peak numbers. You can have the heads milled so you can run some decent compression without having to flycut the pistons. If it's more of a street car this is what I would go with.

With a m6 he could easily drive a larger cam, and with those heads its gonna have pretty good midrange power. So IMO going with a larger cam would still keep it a considerably driveable street car for that kind of power.

It's a pretty name, but I see no such thing on the TSP site. Clue me in, big dawg.
And how long until the 220cc runner Terminators are there?

You want good power under the curve.... Call Jason and get something close to:

226/230 LSX 110 + 0
Heads setup for 8.75:1 SCR
Great tune with optimal timing and fuel

I see the Torquer v3 in the combos section. I'll run it by Zach in our discussions on my purchase. I'm just trying to decide if I should wait on the 220cc terms. I'm thinking the 200's will give me more low RPM torque. What's your thoughts?

Just additional some food for thought....

Cartek has always had alot of fast corvettes(mid 10s)
Most of those corvettes were on 224/228
Almost all of those cars were shifted ~6800
Every 6 degrees you increase duration I believe you raise peak power 500rpm
You do the math

Bottom line if you have the ***** to run a big cam that makes power after 6k you better have the *****/setup to shift 7k+ or your gonna leave power on the table.
