I am on the backside of what you are going thru. #6 rod bearing /end cap bolts stretched/let go in my situation. I saved the block. Got a forged 347 kit from SDPC. With the money I saved on the motor I got a full UMI suspension and Moser 9" rear. The Kmember alone causes leakage of bodily fluids. The motor is back in and all I am waiting on now is my custom driveshaft. This is phase I of the rebuild. Phase II involves TTs. Good luck man.

I find it interesting you didnt snap a ring. What all did that chunk of metal do to the head? Did it make it out the exhaust valve safely, so, now its floating around in the cat now?
