I tried the search and it did nothing but give me a blank screen. I know some of you may be thinking, why its a waste of time not enough gains. Well here is the thing. I took mine off the C6 for the Magnusun, and I have an extra intake. My dad has a 99 Z28 and wants to change his out. Well I am going to give him this one if it will work. Basically more interested in changeing his out to get rid of all the hoses more then anything. But if any of you guys might know if there is a benifit or if it will not work let me know.

There are some guys out there porting the LS2 intakes that are supposedly getting some decent gains. You would be able to step up to a 90mm throttle body instead of the stocker. I think you will need some parts to adapt your LS1 fuel rail to fit. I have considered the swap myself.

I attempted to, but it became too much a pain:
1) LS2 ported intake
2) MAP sensor wiring extension to move from the back of the LS6 to the front of the LS2
3) 90mm cable TB
4) Custom throttle cable bracket for LS2 intake (Holley TB comes with it's own, so #3)
5) Larger o-rings for the LS1 injectors so they fit the LS2 intake manifold
6) LS2 fuel rail since LS1 doesn't match up - or cut your LS1 in half and rubber hose middle
7) If LS2 fuel rail, the fuel line connector is smaller on LS1 <- gave up went FAST 90mm
I didn't really see anyone post this up, but this is what I found. After all of that, you have a ported LS2 intake that may have internal leaks due to their molding process - the runners appear to have gaps in the two halves.

you will need truck fuel rails, injectors, they also need to be 04 newer fuel rails since you have a returnless fuel system, the ls2 intake is shorter so you would have to use the truck accessories I do believe. extend your map sensor wires to fit where the truck one is also need truck map sensor, truck alt. bracketery. this is alot harder than plug and play. I'm doing the ls6 intake swap to the truck and its going to be a job lol. good luck. oh yeah do a search on performancetruck.net they did a flow test on the intakes.
