Default Gt2-3 Cam

Does anybody have the full specs on this cam? I want to calculate the DCR with this cam. I will be using a 62 cc head and a stock gasket (.055).

Thanks

That's what the spec sheet I have says...I don't own the cam, but found the information on here a long time ago and printed it out for safe keeping.

I don't have anything other than a printed copy, but the attachment is still a part of this database:

Looks like this will give me a 8.5 DCR with a 10.9 SCR.

If I keep my 64cc chamber and use a .04 gasket I get a 8.7 SCR with a 11.1 SCR.

I think it is cheaper to mill the heads than buy the gaskets.

Do you think that the difference in quench is worth going wih the thiner gasket?

Yes, quench is more important than your plug choice

If you do this setup, will you let me know the numbers (high or low, don't care)?

My car has never been on a dyno. But I have plenty of track time to compare it to. I have lowered my ets from a stock of 13.2 to a low of 12.13 with just boltons. If I do get it dynoed I will post the numbers but I will have nothing to compare them to. Looks like it will get done over the winter months so it will be awile. Still debating my cam selection. I really like this cam because of its stock idle.I drive my car daily 9 months a year and spent most of my time in city traffic so I don't mind leaving a few HP on the table. Just looking to have a consistent 11 sec. car. I will definately post my track times.

That's all I'd need...just something to compare it to. I have been thinking about something like this as a kind of "stealth" setup, but still having a lot of grunt compared to stock. I'm just not sure if I want to take the plunge on a cam that might be too big since my car is a daily driver, and I'm very critical of its behavior on the street.
