BigBos dynoed 360rwhp with the same stuff, T1 etc.

I'm sure he will respond to this thread.

I'm guessing your AF is too rich.

It looks like your car was sort of down on power even before you installed the cam. Are you running catalytics or not?

With the stock rev limiter, how far did you take the dyno up to? That cam will peak around 6200 rpm or so.

How are your AutoTap numbers? Sounds like you might have some tuning issues to deal with.

Yeah, I'm running through the Mac Cats.. which I've heard suck... I've created a Atap log, but haven't checked out the readings yet.

Matt, I cannot stress enough how much Mac cats SUCK. Some are known to flow worse than stock.

Raising the rev limiter will definately pick up some peak power.

With an offroad pipe you will definately pick up some power as well. A good friend of mine gained 15 rwhp taking off his Mac cats while running a B1 cam. If you cannot run without cats, definately look into some Random Tech's or Car sounds, they will provide more power over those corks you got on there now.

I'm thinking with a decent exhaust/y-pipe setup and raised limiter you should be at ~355-360 rwhp, aint to shabby for a cam only. Slap on an LS6 intake and 370 could be within reach.

You still have more left in the car, good luck with it.

I did 324 rwhp with just bolt ons and no free mods

I had FLP Longtubes w/cats
Lid
Loudmouth and thats it...

I gained 24rwhp with my cam...its almost identical to the T1, I was supposed to get a T1 but they were on 16 week back order..therefore I decided to go with the Comp Custom Grind

222/222 .563/.563 112lsa...

Basically the same as the T1

You are probably running on the rich side...

My AFR's were high 14's down low and low low 12's up high...so I got a MAFT and adjusted...5% rich down low and 2% lean up top...haven't noticed a difference yet...but I'm sure when the CPU learns it, it will get better...

Bumping up your rev limiter will get you another 5-10 rwhp..so that will help...

I took my cats off for the next dyno and got 11rwhp and 25rwtq...so they are pretty restrictive..."high flow cats" my A$$...

Take yours off and bump the limiter and you will be suprised...

BIGBOS, what type of cats do the FLPs come with that were so restrictive? I thought they came with RTs?

Default Disappointing Dyno numbers with new cam

I'll post the Dyno as soon as I get it scanned.. but it aint pretty...

I installed a T1 cam, hardened pushrods, new springs/retainers about a month ago on my M6..
No reprogramming.. stock rev limiter..

I got it dynoed this weekend... 340 rhp 338 tq..

That's only 10 more horsepower then before the cam.

The valve train was noisy as hell when it was being dynoed... This weekend I'm gonna pull the covers and check/retorque everything ...

Any ideas? I wanna get this resolved before I go for the ls6 intake and Stage 2 heads.

Thanks
