Any Ideas on helping me squeeze out some extra HP?
I'm happy with the numbers that I'm putting down, but I know its got more in it...
My current ideas are:
Gut the MAF/Tune it with the MAFT...thats good for about 5-7rwhp <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">
Thats about the only thing thats blocking my intake path..
Any Ideas...
I guess I could also do a crank pully when the time comes... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

sure, asp pulley would help. how about custom tuning, do you have that? the maft will help out a little bit if you are way off to begin with. just check your 02's with autotap. what about a ported throttle body? is it possible to gasket match, port match your exhaust ports on the head, and would that really help anything? that's all i got for now

I have a MAFT and the car is running somewhat good as it is..it can do better..
The only "tuning" I have currently is HPP3 and I got the fans set on to come early and the limiter at 6600..I really don't feel like spending $450 for a custom program just to fix the small things...but I know that would do the trick..
The ASP Pully is sounding good... <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

the guy from ZapPCM supposedly has LS1-editnow, and he did wonders over ed wright with my buddies LT1. now that's to be expected cause he dyno tuned it compred to ed's mail order, but i know his charges were a lot less. again, for an lt1, don't know about ls1. put up a page on the mfba board asking for his number. that might help you out. i could have sworn it was like 250 or something like that. not sure though, that should make it a little more justified, and that's the same price as a pulley <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Brian, the pulley is probably your best bet at this point for a bolt-on that’ll give you some real gains.
Maybe more HP isn’t what you really need though, what about suspension? I think I remember reading that you wanted some LCAs? That would be a good way to stretch the life of your axle if it cures your wheel hop (which they did for me).
You already have the LS6 intake, so a ported TB might be a good idea.
If you think your going to be keeping your axle for a while, a girdle might not be a bad idea either.
There really isn’t much left for you to do but start on so more major mods! <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> Too bad they cost so much though... <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

A-tap first to see whats going on and go from there with tuning (i.e bump-stop grind,MAFT or PCM tuning). <img src="graemlins/gr_xmas.gif" border="0" alt="[santa]" />
