Need New """FLP""" Clamps..Need help though
I would like to replace all 4 "V" clamps that come on my FLP system. I have switched from cats to orp's quite a few times and I think the clamps are taking a beating. I dont think there sealing properly when on thus causing an exhaust leak around the clamps. Does anyone know where I could get 4 of these?
I called FLP but they want 100 for all 4 of them! Im sorry but I REALLY doubt they cost 25 dollars a piece.
thanks!

One of the two size clamps is used on ford power stroke diesels for the turbo piping. Take them to a ford dealer. Give Dyna Tech a call.

If you're having a problem with them leaking, try putting some aluminum foil around the connection and put the clamps over that. That's what I did and they don't seem to leak anymore.

Maybe the FLP's should come with a roll of foil and a length of rubber heater hose in the kit from now on. Ghetto-style.

Dont gotta tell me My car is lowered substantially and these FLP's have hit the ground more times in the past week than my mac longtubes ever did for over a year. Its always the big fatty Vclamps that hit the speedbumps.

Re: Need New """FLP""" Clamps..Need help though
guys,
the foil im sure works good, but i just want to replace the clamps without having to do other mods to the already 1200$ header system i invested in. theres got to be someone that knows where i could get some new ones??? I might just have to do the foil, but i want to weigh my options here...
thanks
