I'm trying to hunt down KR. Everything on the Atap is rich yet, KR pops up around 4k.
The car is at the exhaust shop now, getting everything tightened up. I'm thinking about pulling the pushrods this weekend. Since I hear slight ticking. Can the pushrods be a suspect?

Viper,
Here is my sig. I have a 00ZM6 and the KR problem car is my wife's 98TA A4
Well the exhaust is tightened but it aint the prob. I noticed that I didn't get KR until the car shifted (roughly I might add) A fluid/filter change will happen today to help the rough shifting. I will check the LCAs this weekend. I think it is false knock.

Geez, y'all, this talk of bent pushrods 'n broken valve springs (two topics on it in this forum alone) is startin' to worry me a bit!
Is this a reliability issue with stock LS1's, or does the valvetrain not respond well to engine mods?

The drivetrain does not respond well to missed shifts. Most of the people with bent pushrods and valves are M6 guys missing shifts. The A4 guys dont seem to have this problem.
