I would like to hear what he has to say. The one thing I like about the FLP is that its a full system and the only thing I have to worry about is welding the pipe to the can for the most part. And things are a little more extensive with everything else.

I love my FLP's. I just switched insurance companies, and they want me to get both vehicles inspected. I'm gonna install the cats and pass with flying colors. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> The FLP's will also allow me to achieve max power when I start tearing into the engine. I could post a dyno comparison of the Macs vs. the FLP's on my 383. I know you said you aren't doing anything radical, but it really shows you how the mid-range power, along with top-end, is affected.
anyone have pictures of the FLP's in an 99-00 SS. I have an Eibach pro kit so the car sits a little lower than stock but not to bad. Will I have to worry about the hang down of the FLP's?

If you just plan on bolt ons, MACs are considered better because the hp difference isn't that much and the money difference is huge. But the FLPs aren't "too much" for the motor. There are only 2 LS1 headers that I can think of, and one isnt even made anymore, that would be considered "too much" for bolt on LS1.

This is the question of the ages and I know it has no REAL answer. Depending on setup etc etc etc. I am going to be putting in amn MTI lid at the same time. Which route would be better. Or should I wait to see what the hooker LT's have been checked out.
