how many miles on a tank of gas you guys getting? just something to compare mine to....i don't know if it makes a milage difference but i ALWAYS use Amaco Ultimate/Gold

I make an averge of 325 to 350 miles a tank during casual driving. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> however, when I'm stuck in good old Houston traffic, that will drop a lot. You know, dodging in and out to avoid getting hit by those in-experinced ricer drivers. They seem to think they are in some sort of sports car but hell, they can't hardly stay in the lane much less get the hell out of my way.... <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

WOW....is there something extra in the gas down in Texas?!? the other day i got 240 and that was with a litle highway driving. the stop and go light on every corner around here prob doesn't help. how does 240 seem to you guys? if it matters i've got an auto

Re: how many miles on a tank of gas you guys getting? 240 sounds reasonable to me. I usually get anywhere from 230-260 depending on the traffic I've been driving in. I have gotten over 350 before, but that was with only highway (no traffic) driving.

Re: how many miles on a tank of gas you guys getting? I filled up in Detroit, MI and drove to Indianapolis, IN. I was out of cash so I had to conserve a little. The trip is 285 miles. When I got home in IN I had to still drive to work downtown everyday 8 miles one way. Using the 1-4 skipshift I ended up with 349miles before I didn't have any ***** left to run on E anymore and filled up. Had I drove straight through on the highway I'm sure I could have gone over 400.

Notice the Majority of these cars are Six Speeds... <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> With my A4 (and its setup) I get 12-13mpg in the city, with spirited driving. The only time Im on the freeway really is when i go to the drags, so bout 85-90% of my drivin is in the city, and thats where my MPG hits me hard <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
The Stall is what really did it for me(well worth it though)..im lucky to get 200miles on a tank in the city.

I get around 210 miles per tank with my 2001, 70 highway 30 city driving. I get on the gas a few times each tank.

I never get any more than 180 on a tank, but I always fill up when I get down to only a 1/4 tank left. So technecally, I get 180 to 3/4 of a tank <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Re: how many miles on a tank of gas you guys getting? My worst tank ever was 180 miles.. My best ever has been 315. But I think I am going to break the new best today sometime.. The check gauge light just came on and I have a 55 mile ride home. I will be stoping in 30 miles or so and have 290 on this tank.. So we wil say 320 this time..

Re: how many miles on a tank of gas you guys getting? Through 10k miles I averaged 240-260 per tank (13-14 gallons) Since lid and corsa I am getting 280-310 on the same amount of gas. This is including extra warm-up time for the cold weather and a little extra foot occasionally to hear the CORSA. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: how many miles on a tank of gas you guys getting? my last tank of gas was my worst ever 180 or something.....it was pathetic that was 100% city style driving and my car sat for about 4 days straight without being turned on so im not sure if some of the gas evaporated or what ohhwell im doing a little better on this tank but i havent done much highway either...my best ever was like 310 or 320 or something and that was STRAIGHT highway
