Default SELLING MY BIKE: Now getting H/C Package?? Which Should i go with?

Ok guys im prob going to sale my bike tomorrow so this means extra $$$. Iwas mainly looking at TSP just bc they have helped me through all my questions. Ok i was thinking of going with the stage 2.5 PRC 5.3 With the MS4 cam, http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=203&catid=47

Or going with the PRC LS6 style heads which ive seen great numbers from along with the MS3 cam. http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=680&catid=47 both ofcourse come with comp. valve job and the dual springs.

I know both will show great gains but i would like to keep it pretty reliable even though it's not my DD. But i dont wana be working on it every weekend if you know what i mean. give me some advice thanks.

Can't go wrong either way, TSP is cool to deal with. Good luck!

If you can afford it, I'd go with a set of Trick Flow 215 heads from TEA.

Agreed. Once I see a few more cars with these, I'll be going this way as well.

I think it's worth the extra $1000-1500 between having a 420-440 rwhp car and a 470-490rwhp car.

I'm about to buy a cheap learner street bike(I just got my license), 87 Ninja EX500 for $750, so I can go with a TFS and ported FAST 90/90 combo.

AFR's all the way and a tq cam that clears, maybe mill the heads a little and shoot for the hardcore 400+rwhp/rwtq

also by the way bought a new 2005 ninja 250r:

I love it and recently got done with a 740 mile ride in two days and it was great all over the speedo board and hung with the 600 up to a 100, anyways brand new it cost me a little under $2500 from the right dealer, just something to think about

I'm on the hunt for a new H/C set up as well. I am leaning towards the AFR 205's. They have proven results with big #'s. But these new TFS heads from TEA are putting down unreal #'s.

The new TSP TQr V.3 is looking might nice also.

GMHTP Magazine did a dyno comparison of all the major players offering aftermarket heads. Trick Flow and AFR were both top performers. You ought to review that article. Last month's magazine I think.

TrickFlow Heads are close to $3,000 with the Harland sharp rockers ,well worth the coin though . What ever you decide on , get your dynamic compression in the 8.5 -8.7 range and you will be golden . 350cfm heads are **** with a 300cfm intake. Less expensive heads +90/90 will out power bling bling heads+ ls6 intake .

That's old news people. Now the mark has been set around 500rwhp for a H/C and bolton 346ci.Can't beat the TFS heads and Vengeance Racing has their own proven custom cams and they're the ones setting those high marks.

Well i thought i was going to sell the bike but we had a lil title issue and he backed out. So looks like ill have to wait til spring so i can sell it. Maybe by then there will be even better heads out there.

That sucks but it gives you more time to decide on a combo. I would go with AFR or ETP heads
