Default JS's A4 dynoed 432 RWHP and 388 RWTQ

Finally got a few runs on JS's new set up, we have some trans and tuning issues but the numbers look good, 432.7 RWHP and 388.4 RWTQ SAE corrected.
He has our Stage 2-X package and the car has the following mods, MAC headers, LS6 intake, MAF ends, Lid, UD pulley, Short belt, cut-out, 3.73 gears, A4 with manually locked converter.

I will post the dyno runs later.

Well Terry r u happy now
432/388 and it still isnt tuned in yet nor is my modded trans in the car yet.

I'm sure I lose alittle bit from the 12-bolt but all in all I would say these r good BASE numbers.

Actually I'm in shock
432 from an Auto!

Julio I dont know what to say
Dinners on me.....

Cant wait for the track results, or the Dynatech results.

You made like ~375 rwhp/400+ rwtq with the old setup didn't you?

New CARTEK setup 432/388
Old JPR setup 375/355

Thats an improvemnt of 57RWHP,33RWTQ!!!
I'd say thats a pretty good start...

Funny thing is the trans unlocks because its starting to crap out.I have a NEW box that will take the hp going in next week.I'm curious to see if the Dynatechs really make more HP/TQ?

We will post results very soon.

So how much juice did it take to get from 407rwhp@13.5:1 AF to 432rwhp? <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

JS does the "-X" stand for extra bullshit? <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> Did you swap out that Thunder cam for a bigger one? I know the best you could do was 408rwhp the other day locked up.

Also was that dyno with your tiny 216 camshaft and JP heads with the converter locked up?

Hey, Does UBB have a "Filter Feature"? if we have to buy it, lets start a fund for the mods.

Any competent programmer could add one. You just need to include a place in the user profile to store a "block" list, and when doing the query to load up a thread, include an expression that excludes posts from users on your block list.

I'd rather see them come up with an algorithm that can filter out posts from the ignorant. Don't worry though, such an algorithm would really take some real programming.

JS, here is your dyno run.

Joel's 432 RWHP dyno run

It look's like the converter isn't locked untill 4,200 rpm and at 6,500 there are tuning issues. Tomorrow is another day.

Damm, you just lllooovvvveee to start, don't you Terry... No prob, fair game.. You just make it ssoooo easy.. Just because it takes you a shot of laughing gas to run in the 11s (damm, five supposed 11-sec cars and you still can't get it right???), doesn't mean anyone else needs it. And, judging by your numbers posted, especially the mph, you aren't making anywhere near the numbers you claim. Sad....Wait.. I know what you're whole problem is ... Fustration, that's it.. Cause you can't do well, it's hard to deal with anyone who can..
Lastly, if you wanted someone to come up with a filter that eliminated the posts by the ignorant, how the hell would you ever get through again???? Then again, I'm suuuurreeee you would be missed ... now that was funny.. lololololol...
Wasn't there someone else who had the job of making you look bad at some point?? I think his screen name was Blackout or something???? Don't, start anything and there wouldn't be anything Terry.. Haven't you learned that yet??

Great numbers on Joel's car.. Wait till track day..

by the looks of it, the 432 is still a little underrated - once you clear up the tuning @6-7k, you should squeak a few more ponies.....Very Nice!

I can't remember, how does this compare to Dave's TA?

What are your cam specs? From the look of the HP and Torque spread it must be a fairly stout cam. Is it bigger than 226/234?
Are you planning at dynoing at another shop for independant comparision to calm down the naysayers? <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
Cheers,
Chris

ps- I would be careful revving that thing up to 7300rpm on the dyno like you have been. Stock bottom end doesnt like that too much! What are your other plans JS? I know you are going with K Member and A arms etc. What else are you changing? I see tens in your future <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Great numbers JS!! Way to go Cartek!! Their LS6 Stage II package really moves... I love mine.

I will be interested to see how much HP you will lose when you go to the 12 bolt and with the 4.10 gears. I am guessing about 8-9 RWHP. Maybe only 6 RWHP after all the tuning is done. Those 4.10s really change your HP number. I know I would have had close to 450 RWHP if I had my old 3.42s in and had my throttlebody ported at the time.

Your car is going to tear up the track. I just hope you can find a tire big enough to hold the force and still get good 60 ft times. I wish you luck.

Hey, I love to play nice.. It's when other's don't, I DON'T.. Sorry.. I never instagate, I just react..
Dave's car I believe made 407 at the wheel and Joel's so far is at 432, probably on it's way to like 437. But, there's also the factor of Dave's car having 4.10 gears in a 10-bolt and Joel's has 3.73s right now.. So, instead of a 30 hp difference between the two, it will probably end up closer to 25-27 at the wheel, with the same gears, which is still way impressive. Looking at the basic facts that Dave's car is still a bit heavier then Joels and now Joel is lightening his even further, some impressive ETs should most defintely be had over Dave's 10.90s.

Those are some great #'s. When you re-dyno w/ the new trans, could you post up a graph with the converter locked and unlocked? What are you thinking on shift points?

Julio told Abe I will lose about 15 to 18RW once I go the 12-bolt.

Chris no offense but if Nick put these numbers up would u tell to re-dyno at another shop.I just dont understand some of u guys sometimes.

The numbers r legit.
And wait til Julio builds my 7500 rpm short block
This is JUST the beginning...

Terry I wont say anything cocky.
