Default GTP ported Heads questions

I'm looking to go for a heads/cam package and wanted to get opinions. GTP seems to have some nice prices out there, but you're always told you get what you pay for...anyone have these in their car?? What kind of flow numbers did they come with? I'm looking into the stage II's...what kind of cam are you running with it. Kinda new to this stuff, so any help will be appreciated!!

Check out the post below.
I believe a set of GTP Stage 2 heads with the TR 224 cam made upwards of 420rwhp.
People have had GREAT results with GTP heads.
GeorgeC also has a set of them I think.
I'll let them post and go more into detail...

I was rather impressed with the numbers on the other post...really impressed!! Just wanted to get several opinions on these before making my decision. Also, anyone know what kind of a waiting list there are for these heads?

I think the car he is referring to actually made somewhere around 443 rwhp with TR224 cam and GTP Stage II heads. Thunder Racing can hook you up with the exact same setup and I'd almost bet my life that you would never regret it. These guys know exactly what they are doing.

I had a set of GTP's on my car for about ~2 years, and was pretty happy with them overall... It looks like I'll be going to something different with my new combo being put together currently, though.

Times and stuff are in my sig below...

I'm seeing a few different cams too...226, 224...who likes what?? Sorry, but I want this combo to RUN after spending the money. I also plan on running a small dry shot..probably 60 shot. Thanks for any more info guys!!

I had GTP stage 2s with my other setup and really liked them. Craig does AWESOME work. For the money, they can't be beat.
