^ On a C5 you have to pull the steering rack out to get to the crank pulley.

Yes, but compared to yours... it's lacking a substantial amount of bling

Getting the hood off by myself was evil... and letting the oil drain from the oil cooler takes a bit... but yeah I'm working slow and being lazy.

Had to make time for an evening w/ the GF... if I want to keep a GF. It's when you start putting them off to play with the car that the car becomes an issue.... been there done that. Being a bartender she works Thursday-Saturday... so Sunday is hangout night... otherwise I'd have been out there all night.

I'll be back at it tonight after work

Update

Had some help tonight... needed it, thanks Joe (HPADDICT), Jay (VR-4EVER), and Kevin (TooCool) for the spare hands and knowhow. Joe just recently put a blower cam in his '99 FRC in prep for his Vortech so it was good to have him. Kevin is a master Ford tech so he can turn a wrench better than all of us, and Jay is a wizard w/ his TT VR-4 making 500+ awhp... good group of guys to have.

Removed the swaybar, steering rack (PITA), and crank bolt... also got the coil packs and plug wires off.

PS pump assembly

Rack, swaybar, cooler etc.

Still waiting on parts... will do valve springs tomorrow.

This is probably one of the better walk-throughs I have yet to see. Good detail and excellent pics with accurate descriptions.
