Allright here goes! I am wondering is there a cam out there that will give me hp but let me be emmission legal and keep my car a daily driver? I am presently looking into some shorty headers,and either a SY or ST 3500 convertor! My main priority is drivability (i drive 100 miles each way to drag race)and emission legality! I would rather not do any computer tuning if I don't have to, but it is not totally out of the question! Thanx! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Seeing how much response you have to this question, i figured id chime in. The TR 220* on a 114* lsa or C1 and B1 have been quoted as passing in previous posts.State of tune and good working cats are just as important as cam choice when it comes to emission testing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

O.K. i think its because these guys have seen this type question so many times in the past, you should do a search and then if you have specific questions you could ask those, you might get more help like that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Well I don't know alot about cams and stuff but I do know that it is pretty hard to lose driveability with these cars.... Jsears8 drives from Hammond, LA to Hattiesburg, MS to race (about a 2 hour drive) and he bolts his slicks and skinnies on and races as much as he can and then puts his tires on and drives back home(I saw it too many times)...... If I were you I would call one of the sponsors----->>>>>>>
and ask them what would be best for your set up..... when I make my final descision I'll call Thunder Racing since they are closest to me..... It's just an idea!!

LOL!!! Jason sorry I left you out man! You two guys must love racing!!!!! I love it but I'm not too sure if I would drive 2 hours away to race.... I have before and I wont do it again b/c it was a SHITTY track...... You ever heard of a track that makes you pull through the water box(no matter what type of tires you run)????????

I'm ready to see you 2 back at the track!! You guys should come down on a Saturday sometimes and then you could cruise the streets and make fun of the 5.slows and 4.sux around here! I have an extra bed or 2 if you guys get tempted! LOL I'm out for now man I got some stuff I need to get done for a little while! Holla back at your guys later!!
