it works EXTREMELY well.
ran a best of 11.71 @ 118 with a 3600+ lb raceweight...with some juice went 10.83 @ ~130 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: B1 Cam with stock heads Thanks guys. I will go for the B1 and valvetrain upgrade. Forget about the Hot Cam. I will also get the HPP3 to bump up the rev limiter. I just have to wait until MTI puts these items on sale.
Re: B1 Cam with stock heads If I wasn't planning to spray, and spring breakage wasn't a concern then this would be my cam of choice. I've seen some big numbers and track times with this cam. But, I think the Comp 216/220 or 218/224 is the one for me. Guys are into the 400 hp range (w/ S1 heads) even with the lower lifts of those cams. I'm just worried about being out in the middle of nowhere on a road trip and breaking a spring because of the 56* lift.

I'm with you. I'm finishing up my S1 heads and am looking at a 216/216 .537" high ramp rate Comp cam. Lower lift but fast ramps with a decent idle.

i drive 100 miles each day. i wanted a mild cam, but not too mild. B1 is perfect for me.
see sig and webpage for dyno and 1/4 #'s as well as pics. i gotta re-dyno soon because i got a new fuel pump...
check out my mph! with cats, 17's, road race suspension, full weight (3600 lbs) and running very rich.
