Since I'm replacing my CC 941 springs with 918 springs and the car will be in the shop anyway, would my engine benefit from new rocker arms?
Anyone using the Jesel rocker arms on the LS1?

Yes, we have Jesel's, but we have solid roller too. Used Jesels over the years since the 1980's! actually, best rockers out their, period. But you can go with others, we have Yella Terra roller rockers in Australia cheap! Good rockers too.
Try Crane, etc, their fine.

biggest advantage with JESEL or T&D is ADJUSTABILITY...we have no way of adjusting lifter preload w/o adding shims or changing pushrods with the stock setup.

FAST99Z- actually, $800 for a set of Jesels installed is pretty damn cheap (in the world of Jesel). Open up a Jeg's and look at some of the prices for other (non-LS1) setups they sell... the rocker setup alone is usually in the $1200-$1300 range. Which explains where T&D came from... T&D figured that they could provide a similar (some even say better, but I have no experience to point to) product for a lower price... enter the Jesel Sportsman Series rockers that usually sell for @$700 (that's what you're looking at, plus $100 for installation).
As others have mentioned, the Jesel/T&D systems are full roller (fulcrum and tip), adjustable, and durable. Shaft mount rockers are VERY stable under high loads... which can lead to extended valvetrain life.

I am using the T/D rockers in my solid roller setup. The big advantage to the T/D versus the Jesels it that they didn't require clearancing even with my 1.550" springs and Manley Pro Stock retainers. Plus they are about the same price as the Jesel Sportsman series.

SLP has just released 1.85 ratio, bolt-on OEM style rockers for LS1s. We have them available in a couple packages from basic rockers to rockers with springs and chrome moly or titanium retainers. They are priced competitively

I think Jesel rockers are a good investment in reliability, especially with the new wave of inverted and assymetrical lobe profiles that have come out recently. The extra spring tension it requires to keep these cams in control will abuse stock rocker arms bearing retainers IMO. This is why we are seeing some stock rocker arm failures, along with valve floating being even more destructive.
