35-40 thou milled ls1 heads
I found heads that are 35-40 thousand milled heads .... said it`ll make around 11.5:1 CR with a stock short block ... and wouldn`t have ptv clearance with a tr224 56x 56x lift on a 114 lsa ... what is the chamber size and can it be milled more in the future?
any guess for the pushrod lenth? maybe 7.350?
another thing is that he said Cam in the car with these heads was 232/236 with nearly 600 lift on a 113LSA
without flycutting.

I am not an expert at all but I have talked to TEA on this matter because of my setup.
241 heads milled 0.030
.040 cometic head gaskets so total difference between a stock 241 head and my head and gasket combo would be 0.044
226/230 cam
7.350 lenght pushrods
TEA told me the largest cam I can run without flycutting would be 228/230 but if I put a stock head gasket back in I could run a 232/232 cam. Hope this helps.

don`t know the ICL just know it`s a tr224 with 56x 56x lift 114.5 lsa the cam card is with a friend of mine ... it`s a 806 casting the 1998 heads using stock gm head gaskets....and stock valves will be installed.
thanks for that info FDLS1 at least I know now that I`ll get 7.350 pushrods.

I think the TR 224 has 4* of advance in it, but it has been so long since I looked I wouldn't guarantee. Even with 4*, it still opens the intake valve later than a 232 cam on a 113 with 109 ICL. However, I'd call TR and ask.
BTW, if you have 11.5:1 SCR and TR cam has 4* advance, I'd seriously consider an adjustible timing chain and retarding it to a 114 ICL. 110 ICL produces a very high DCR.

it will open sooner! don`t really undertans these things .... are you worried about the DCR or about ptv clearance?
if I get the heads (waiting on the seller) .... hell let the engine break .... I`ll have an excuse to have a 383 or 402 sooner ..... I`ll be using 94 or 95 octane fuel (don`t remember wich one is correct).

I just say someone posted about a 216/220 560 560 114+4 being 8.8x DCR with a 64cc chamber! if that is true I think I must listen to you and buy an adjustable single chain....but didn`t read how much advanced or retarded the tr224 is .... I can get the cam card in a few days is it mentioned there or could be calculated?
