Default Ti retains on 918's?

Is it worth the extra $150 to get the titainium retainers rather than reuse the stock ones? Cam will be like a upper 220's duration .56x lift, low 11x's lsa. I'm trying to spend as little as I can (cuz I ain't got it ) but still be safe/durable for daily driving.

You don't need them unless you plan on spinning above 6600. See my sig, I am running just the 918's with hardened pushrods and shifting at 6600 on the 1-2 & 2-3 and 6400 on the 3-4.

The stock retainers are VERY light. You really have nothing to gain by switching from those to Ti retainers.

Actually it's about 145 I get about 4900 shift extension there with my SY3500. It keeps pulling real hard.

I got your mail Scott, just waiting for the TB's Then I'll be a happy camper. I just got the ASP crank pulley in and the Nitto's are going on this afternoon. Hello 11's!!!
