im looking at two motors for a hybrid project, and am trying to deduce ALL the differences bewteen the two.

i believe the cams, intake and 241 heads were the same. I know the t-body is the same in each application. I know GTO headers were different.

can anyone here id for me other significant, or even seemingly insignificant chagnes? the hybrid list hasnt had any data for me.

gto's have ls6 pcv system and am ls1 sticker on the TB i think thats about it

thanks....any idea if they use air injection? manifolds dont appear to have a location for it.

I thought there was a size difference in CI? or is that the 05' and newer?

the 05 is the 6.0 but the 04 is a a ls1 5.7

the GTO engine was rated at 350/350 for whatever reason from the factory

No air injection. Its the same engine, just rated "right".

All `01-`04 LS1 Engines are identical except for Exhaust manifolds and Oilpans for the different Chassis (GTO F-Body Vette) Oh and the Vettte has the electronic TB.
