Who here w/ heads/cam has upgraded fuel injectors/pump and why??
I'm curious has to who has upgraded to bigger injectors and or a bigger fuel pump to go along with their heads/cam cars...
I obviously don't want to be maxing out my injectors....I anticipate about 440rwhp or so on stock 01 injectors/pump, and am wondering if I should switch to aftermarket injectors/pump.
Does anyone see any real benefit to this??

You can't pull that off on stock 01/02 injectors. We kept adding fuel to mine and had no change in results on the 24# injectors. Put 28# injectors in and we were great on the A/F. Otherwise it was way lean and detonating. No change on the fuel pump though.
Basically when you tune it watch your A/F and if you keep adding fuel with little resulting change, swap the injectors. You may want to think about 30# SVO's so that you can run them at less than wide open. That will protect them a bit from burning out.

I plan on being well above 500 crank hp and am afraid my injectors need to go anyway.

I have the Racetronix 340lph intake pump and wiring. My stock one was making noise so I replaced it with something better. I also plan on spraying the car. Don't want to run out of fuel and <img border="0" alt="[kaboom]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bomb.gif" />

I have a 98 and still use stock injectors and pump. Doesn't have a problem making it run rich clear up to 7000rpm on the wideband.

Couldn't take any extra fuel for the power. We put in some 28# injectors off a Corvette instead. Like I said, you'll really want to check your A/F and see if you need them. In my case the stock injectors couldn't put out enough fuel to get the ideal A/F we wanted.
There are several calculators out there to determine if you injectors can handle X horsepower at the crank. I found some good calculators at RC Fuel Injection ( RCENG.com ).

So maybe I should consider upgrading???
Don't the SVO 30#ers actually work like a 36# injector on our cars ???? Or something like that??

Re: Who here w/ heads/cam has upgraded fuel injectors/pump and why??
The 99s and 00s can max out at high HP & RPM so I switched to 30lb SVO. If I had the 98 or 01 injectors, I doubt I would have switched.
