Thickest head gasket?
i was going to go with a .078 to drop my CR down, but when my mechanic had my engine apart and needed to replace the bearings i decided to drop it by pistons instead. so i sent um back and got the .057" HP series gaskets.
it you need to find out what CR you want buy gasket or whatever use this.

I'm happy to hear you guys aren't having any issues with them...
Are there any tips you'd give on installing them? (they're the multi-layered steel type)
Thanks <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

The guys doing the buildup are well aware of the quench area issues. We were discussing that last night. They are cautious, but would like to know what is available should they think it is worth a try. They have built a ton of FI cars (their specialty).
How does an 02 Z06, Katech LS6 Heads/Cam (Blower design heads), ARP Rod Bolts, 10# ATI D1SC, and a huge fuel system sound? Should be an interesting setup. It will have a very conservative tune until the bottom end gets built.
