wtf did you just try to say? your typing sucks and your all over the place with your sentence structure which makes it very hard to undertstand wtf your saying some times. Slow down and type clear messages.

Hmm, well there were reports of casting flash in some of the holes preventing the rods from working but I thought that was with the 01-02's. Try and take a flashlight and look in the hole and see what you can find.

you need to get a wooden dowel from wallmart in the arts in crafts section i had the same problem..wooden one goes in just fine.. lube it up really nice.. and dont worry bout lil splinters or anything... if u look at it.. ull see that it will work just fine.... also DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE PEN MAGNETS! i almost had one fall into the head.. those stupid heads come off really easy.. pen magnets are great for other stuff but not holding up lifters... us use the dowels and ull be fine... seems like your install is going just like mine did.. hang in there.. and get the tool from "918hawk" i beleive it was, for putting the pulley back on.. make life ALOT easier... and what spring compressor did u get? the crane cams one was pretty good..just the stupid people didnt send me anything to secure it to the head..but i was prolly just not very lucky..keep us updated on the install! take it slow, and walk away when u get frustrated... hope you have a 10mm open ratchet wrench.. ITS A MUST!

dam..reminds me so much of my install last week... i did the same exact thing..came home from work..started on her... finnaly got the new cam in..went to sleep than woke up and took out the oil pump, and chain...oil pump is gunna be LOTZ OF FUN! make sure u tie some fishing line! it will save your *** alot of times! and makes its easier to get it in the hole and try to thread it in... also it helps to have another set of hands up top holding the pump while u try to the tube bolt threded in..youll see once your doing it and dont forget to line up the dots!
