Default G5X2 cam and ZO6 heads. HP TQ?

Purchased a motor off of Tim the "transporter" and was curious what power i'm making. Stock bottom end. Here are the mods:

It is a factory 2000 short block w/243 casting ZO6 heads and a G5X2 cam, 232/240 .598/.609. Arp head studs and cometic gaskets, ported oil pump, meziere e.w.p., no power steering, no A/C. Just an alternator for now.

Tim says i should be around 500+ hp 460+ tq at the crank.

1 5/8'' shortys (anyone know of a larger primary shorty) and free flow intake. It's a custom application so i HAD to go with the shorty's .

I'm planning on spraying the motor as soon as i can figure how much it can handle (i'll post that question in the Nitrous forum).

Thanks a lot guys.

What car is it going in with what tranny and rear? My friend had a simalar set up in an auto trans am with a 12 bolt and it made 390 to the tire. Im guessing it would make another 30 to 40 at the tire with a 6 speed and the stock 10 bolt.

So since i've got no power steering pump, no A/C and an electric water pump, i should be around 450 rwhp. Right?

You never really know. Every car seems to respond differently. I'll guess 435/410

I thought that a porsche 911 handles well, has a high top speed, is light weight, but it lacks go power. So after 3 months of owning the car i sold the 3.6 and i put this motor in it. Trans is a G50/03. Typical drivetrain power loss is 12%. Weight is sub 2500's wet. Hopefully low 11's.
Damn germans
