Do you dyno with a short belt? How much power does a belt add on a dyno?

Very nice numbers, Joe! Gotta love the power and driveability of that 224 cam
One of these days I'll get mine on the dyno and see what she makes. On second thought...who cares, she runs STRONG at the track (and on the street), that's good enuff for me.

346 cubes,
It was dyno tuned it right off the street, no tricks or short belts here. It was dynoed "as is" right from the customers house. Joe.

So what does that car make with an electric water pump? Seems like yall would be trying to hit 450rwhp on a heads/cam car....I imagine the first shop to do this consistantly will be raking in the cash.

Thanks guys,
I knew by having a strong set of S1's to begin with, I had to step up to the plate with a serious set of S2's so I responded with some of the best porting and flow numbers I can do. The next set I do for an out of state install should meet or break 440 RWH. These heads are the 853 LS1 castings ported to S2 flow numbers. We took this car to the track tonight I missed 4th gear and ran a 12.10 at 117.86 on a 1.99 60 ' mark I think when I went into third, there was some clutch slip and it heated up the hydrolics because when I went for 4th it just would not go in, so I basicly coasted through the traps. Pauls car has stock gears, stock clutch, stock weight and wheels and spare tire included.

JMX,
Colin H is recieving a copy of one of the first batch of 5 water pumps that have been CNC'd, I am installing the stock pump for the first round of dyno tuning and hopefully hitting about 440 RWH, then after it's tuned in, we are installing the electric one and re-tune for the new numbers. To re-cap on Pauls car, he hit 400 RWH at 5,300 rpm and it carries out to it's peak of 432 @ 6,100 and pulls over 400 RWH all the way to 6,500 and past. His torque hits 400 at 3,900 rpm and carries to the peak of 408 @ 4,700 and dosen't fall under 400 RWT till 5,300. We have a Moser 12 bolt with 4:10 gears arriving soon along with drag lites / M&T's with skinnies to install with the addition of a cage. I will fax out Pauls dyno sheet to be posted here tommorow.

Awesome Joe. I've wanted one of your electric pumps since we first talked on the phone about it ages ago. I'm not getting some heads for my Vette soon and would love to get a little power via the pump and leave the cats on, rather than have to take the cats off to get the numbers I want.
I know stuff is going on with the pumps that you can't talk about so thats fine....just hope a good price point is figured out and they hit the market for real soon.

I fianally have M6 dyno numbers for our new S2 heads with the TR 224 cam, this car belongs to Paul R. "ZPaulyone@AOL.com" Paul and I dynoed tuned at JD's Auto today and the first pull off the street was 427 RWH and 411 RWT, it has Mac headers,ORP, open Borla, S2 heads with 10.5 compression 2.02/1.55 valves, TR 224/112/.561 stock rear (the 12 bolt is on the way). The best pull was the third one at 432 @ 6,100 and 408 TQ @ 4,700 SAE corrected. This should pretty much set the standard for our new S2 heads in an M6 give or take a small percentage. Colin H. is the next M6 to get installed and on the Dyno and we should pass these new numbers by a bit. Gotta get back to work.

well joe, congrats...wish I could have made it for a little help myself. Let me know when you make another trip to the dyno for tuning.
