I'm having all kinds of problems with my idle and getting it tuned right. My TB is drilled 9/64 right now.
The car is surging really bad. It stalls when I push the clutch in and hit the brakes hard at the same time.
I think my IAC counts were around 45 w/ the a/c on at idle, and 0 w/o A/c on. My idle has also been bumped to 950rpm.
What have you guys all done to get your car to idle well???

Mine is drilled at 9/64" on my new Thunder Racing ported throttle body. IAC counts are 30-35 in neutral, around 45-50 in drive and about 20-30 counts higher with the A/C on. No surging at all. My old throttle body was drilled to 11/64" which was too big. My idle is at 900 rpms. Very smooth. Look for vacuum leaks too. They can kick your ***.

If you got time, would you be able to go down to the shop with me one of these days? I have the car slated to go in on Monday, but I can always change that.

I would definately be able to go down to the shop with you on weekends, if they are open normal hours on weekdays I can't, I gotta work 8-5. If they are open later on weekdays though I could probably make it. Where they located at?

Mine TB hole is 15/64" and I am still using the stock idle. The car has yet to stall on me and my IAC counts are around 10-15. The car does surge in parking lots at low speeds in first gear, but my other cams did the same thing.
