Yella Terra has stepped it up a notch with their brand new Ultra Light shaft mounted rockers. Part number 6645. They are much lighter than the old Yella Terras. Most of the weight is centered around the trunion. The roller tip is super light. A few people on the board are running them. I should be running some before the end of the month!

Both are excellent rockers but I chose YT because they were slightly cheaper and they have been redesigned to eliminate the weight over the nose. They are quiet, beefy and just a good all around rocker.

I've got the newer ultra light design... my stocker had 70k on them and I wanted to get rid of the needle bearings. Spins to 7k w/o issue... power levels off at 6500.
Heres some pics, almost too pretty to put the valve covers on...

I will add that I had to grind on both sets of heads I've had to get the Harland's to clear...both were GM castings that had been CNC'ed...perhaps that was the problem.
However you look at it, grinding on your motor isn't any fun...

I've put the new style on 2 builds now. They have a lot of little improvements as already listed. Also have a much larger paired trunion, then the thin dowlpin HS. They should have less deflextion, witch is better for getting max lift for power. And better on the heads for guild life also.
Just some dyno pulls for winter, but see no issues. We'll be useing them over HS now.

the only reason one of my YT's broke was it got starved of oil....my car has ring issues...and i have to monitor that more than anyone EVER should....but untill i pay it off i wont have the money to tear it down....plus i figure if i go in there i might as well put somthin worth while back in it

Does anyone know what the new lighter YT weigh? As a pair or whatever. If someone has these ready to install and can weigh then first that would be great.
Also what lift ratio off the seat and at full opening if anyone knows.
Thanks
Mark
