Change the oil pump and timing chain at the same time to be safe.
Here's instructions for the cam install (Except you *DONT* need to remove the AC system...leave it fully charged)
http://www.torquecentral.com/mods/GM...ll/default.asp
And here are instructions to change the oil pump (changing the timing chain is self explanatory once you get the pump off)

its best to change your oil pump while you're doing it but you will need to drop the oil pan down some.
I had to leave my stock pump and timing chain in till i get lift access to makes things easier..
but i followed the first link Jim gave u

I used the TorqeCentral how-to as a reference. I was damn glad I didn't have to scew around with a spring swap!
I went ahead and drained the A/C system, but I have a good connection to get it refilled cheap.
Hey jmX
Do you need two people to do the swap without removing the condenser?? ....one to hold it up while the other person does the swapping?

I'm currently in the middle of my cam swap and I'm using a combination of jmx's oil pump install and the cam install on torquecentral.
As for the a/c system... My car is currently jacked up about 18" off the ground, and the a/c condensor is pushed straight down hanging out of the car and resting on the ground.

On my vette I actually just sat under the car, put the ac condensor on my shoulders and pulled my cam out that way. Either way, it can be done with one person no prob. Just be careful to give it *just* enough clearance if you pull it up, those aluminum AC lines dont like to flex too much before they burst/crack open...usually at joints or connections.
