I`m getting stage 2 heads and X1 Cam. Is this cam a bad choice? Putting it on LS1, with FLP,cats, corsa,Vig 3200, 12-Bolt 3.73. What kind of power curve will it have? O yea, a 100 shot to ice the cake!!! Any help we be Thankful!!!

PoolFanatic with that similar setup through his 6-speed made 446rwhp and 403rwtq....
I don't think the cam is that good for nitrous since its got a lot more duration and lift on the intake side...but I am going to experiment with it too...
I got a 3500 stall w/3.73's in the back too...but I got a Th400...

Don't tailor a camshaft to suit nitrous unless you are serious about building a "nitrous" motor. Anything less than a 200 shot, and you aren't building a nitrous motor. Make it haul *** all-motor, then just use the nitrous as a bonus until then.
Good choice on the heads/cam combo!

My stage 2 LS6's and X1 cam go in this weekend with new bearings, rod bolts, MTI ported oil pump and the SLP double roller timing chain. I wont be able to get it on the dyno until the following week but I will post results when its all done.
I think you made a good choice on the combo. I have heard nothing but good things from people about it.

I will probably go with the C2, even though it isn't anywhere near a guarantee, I figure I'll have an easier time with it. The X1 looks freakin nice though.

Latest numbers were 446/412 with the X1 and Stage II's.
I'd highly recommend it; My car's a daily driver and I couldn't be happier.
One word of caution, if you're going to spray on top of the combo, get a bigger fuel pump and if you don't have 28 or 30 lb. injectors, pick some up.

I believe 2001 LS1 come with 28lb injectors. Steve says the fuel system will hold up to a 100 shot. I planned on getting a fuel pump, but he said no need. Cannot wait to get it done
