Default M6 f-body guys, what cam are you running?

I'm buying a cam for my 2001 z28 m6.

I'm thinking about a larger cam 238/244 or 242/244. My camaro is not a DD anymore, only sees summer time. The car is used for car events, cruising and of course the track!!!

so I would like to know a couple of things:

what size cam are you running?
what hp do you peak?
what rpm is your powerband in?
how is the drivability (rpm surging, engine idle/dying etc)?
do you wish your cam was smaller or larger?

Thanks guys, its greatly appreciated!

I'm on the edge of lith and algonquin off randall. still considered crystal lake.

if you have ever been to the CL downtown car shows I'm sure you have seen my car. a pewter z28 with black racing stripes!

i was looking at the SI5 and or maybe the SI7 if I dont go with a custom grind!
but it also depends on where I buy from too!

this was my old cam...

F13. 230/232 ~.595 lift on both sides. 112lsa.
i wanna say it peaked at 6400.
powerband was 2400 to ~6600 rpms.
idled perfect @ 900 rpms. no surging/dying, ever. 22/27mpg with heads + bolt ons + gears(4.10's)
to be honest i thought it was the perfect cam. not too big, not too small. trapped 123mph in warm weather!

G5X2 and now a G5X4. Not a DD but just a weekend/toy car. I am DD for a week since I haven't had the car out in 3 months and my Grand Cherokee is slow, need a little speed this week.

I am going a bit smaller with the F10. I got some < 100 mile LS6 heads for $350 and want to make the most out of the valvesprings, etc. So a porting job, that cam, LS6 intake, Pacesetters, TNT F1......

I'm running the MS3/PRC 5.3 combo. The HP curve flattens out after 6200 but that might be because of the injectors are maxed out. She has a little surging around 1500 RPM in 2nd and 3rd but other than that it runs awesome. Mine is a daily driver and we are re-dynoing it tomorrow. With a base tune from TSP it put down 423/385. It has been completely gone thru by Bluecat and we'll see tomorrow
