TR230 and milled heads
i just got my tr230/224 and now i have some 5.3 heads i wanna get done, , i noticed verbs milled .10 and had good p/v clearance. if i milled .10 what would the compresion be assuming stock valves and pistons, and what push rods to use..any other info i havnt asked for will be appreciated too, thnx Kevin <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

You P/V should be fine with 5.3 heads milled .010. Comperssion would be about 11.0-11.2. I would use stock length 7.400 pushrods. We'll have a couple sets of 5.3 heads on the shelf in a few weeks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Hope this helps....

ok so what is involed besides a basic valve job to add 2.00 valves and keek stock exhaust, will there be shrouding or will it be just right or tight fit,i knoe the seat will acept a 2.02 but i want to do as little work to these as possible any help is welcome....
