Default 430rwhp with stock heads!

The F1 rocks...

Added the Corsa Titanium catback to the Z06, gained another 11hp/14tq - 431/398

Now - honestly - what are some opinions on some nice GTP or MTI stage II heads? 460 something? Dare I say 470? I honestly don't have any idea, I've been surprised every step of the way so far...I don't have the coin to drop on heads right now, but I'm curious to see what some opinions are on what the power level may be bumped to..?

No surge anymore after some tuning tweaks.

It did 333/332 bone stock. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Well i'm going to be honest here and say that your engine probably already has a nice set of heads on it already...

meaning the tolerances on your heads from the factory are very good.

To be honest, i wouldn't touch them. You have a hell of a lot of power now. Once you get into the heads and other stuff you may have wished you didn't

If you change the heads, make sure GTP does em <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

That's amazing! I'd be delighted with your numbers with a heads and cam package!

I think you'll see some gain with a good set of heads but I don't think you'll see 30+ rwhp with a set. Your factory LS6 heads must be exceptional.

Excellent #'s...

Let's keep in mind these are LS6 heads, so the "stock head" #'s are going to be a little better <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

What springs are you running with the LS6 heads?

Buy new cores when you decide to do heads, no sense tearing up that set.

If you picked up 30 with the heads that would put you at 460RWHP.

Do you really think I'll gain 30-40 more with heads, Jeremy? I would think I would gain SOMETHING...if not a full 30-40 more...??

These are "stock" LS6 heads, never been off the motor, it's an '01 Z06. Comp 918 springs...

I wouldn't touch the heads with those results. Spend the money better elsewhere. Heads are typically the worst $/power in this car.

I'd leave the heads alone as well.
Nice numbers man <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
