well you do have to pay to play. Or so they say. **** i'm rhyming That sucks. Try this, when i put my new GTP motor in it lasted 190 miles. Driving back from work one night and started to knock. Figured i'd be fine for another 2 miles since i knew i was screwed anyway. Threw a rod throught the pan. sucks. When mine first blew my heart sank but you don't have much choice but to get 'em fixed. Hard to sell 'em that way. Good luck man. Let us know what the hell happened.

I just understand how the holes got there. I can see where the valves hit the pistons but the holes. What the hell??

Dont be an *** and start a damn who' the better sponsor war in this thread. Brian and LME has one of the best reputations on this board. Eric has a great reputation as well. Just say that. Dont say something as stupid as "if you want one that stays together"... You make it sound like your dis'ing LME.

Hey man i been there before and in the end it turned out awesome for me. I went from a stock block, mild bolton car to a fully forged head cam setup when my stock block threw a rod. It takes time and $$ but you will be very happy when you get it back up and running.

Look for good deals on your parts and if you do the work yourself it dont cost too much. I spent about 5K total on the setup in my sig which is very cheap for what i have and a lot of the parts i got are brand new. Have patience man, it will come along.

Also always try to have a second set of eyes look over your work, especially on the internal engine and valtrain parts. That second set will usually pick up any mistakes you overlooked.
