Great googly moogly.....cam specs for 230/224 TR
Got my TR230/224 today, and the actual specs are:
Intake Dur. @ .050: 230.4
Exhaust Dur. @ .050: 224.5
Valve Lift: I .576 E .562
LSA: 110.3 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Is the LSA discrepancy normal (Adv as 111 LSA)? I'm not mad or upset, infact I'm excited to hear this thing. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

.7 LSA won't make a noticable difference, but congrats on the cam choice <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Yeah, but I already want a bigger cam. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Hmmmm, I wonder if a ~240/236 108 LSA would work.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

SPANKY LS1, that is a normal discrepancy in the cam. Like Fenris Ulf stated above, the .7 degrees is not going to be hardly noticeable.
Oh, and I might have some more info on that TR 24x/23x cam in a few weeks. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

They are listed at .569
My 230 cam spec'd to a:
230.9/224.3 .576/.563 110.8 LSA
The listed rpm range of the cam (on their site) also perplexes me. It is listed as 2200rpm-6800rpm.
This cam made 0 difference for me on the dyno until about 4500rpms. At 4500rpm's I gained a whopping 12rwhp/8rwtq over my stock cam/stock heads. But then at 6300rpms (cam's peak power) it made 91rwhp/77rwtq more than stock internals, and the numbers only get better as I get higher in the rpm's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Does this cam actually do anything to get you accelerating quicker down low?? It doesn't seem to on my car.

Re: Great googly moogly.....cam specs for 230/224 TR
If I can remember right, mine was a little bigger than that. The intake was about .579, exhaust was .564 and it had a 109.x LSA <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: Great googly moogly.....cam specs for 230/224 TR
I wondered how much difference there was between the same cams.
Mine says
231.0/224.4
0.577/0.562
LSA 110.6
