Default ls1 valves work in ls6 head?

Also does the ls1 use the same gaskets as the ls6?

Gaskets should be the same.

Valves I'm not sure of...I think the LS6 heads had slightly larger valves.

I'd try a search again...worked for me a couple minutes ago.

I'm with orange ss, yes, and yes. Valves are the same size. Although I heard ls6's are sodium filled (lighter).

only on the exhuaust, they were also 6mm longer to make up for the smaller base circle cam, however that can be remedied with longer push rods or milling the head..good luck

just step up to 7.450 pushrods with the '02 z06 cam, valves are same size on both, so yes they will work

6mm = .023 ..need 7.425 pushrods
