Default Comp Cams 222/.563 114... Advance ground in?

I am about to have a cam installed. Does anybody know if this cam (Comp Cams 222/.563 114) has advance ground in?

Thanks,
Kyung

That lift is not an XE-R lobe, more like an XE. The only person who knows what the ICL is of that cam is the person with the cam card since its ground to specs.

I have the cam card. It says 114 ICL. That means no advance, eh?

I want peak power at about 6000RPM, should I advance the cam 4 degrees?

Well, if the cam card says 114 LSA and 114 IC, there is no advance ground-in.

If that is the case, advancing it 4 degrees during installation will get you a little better throttle response, better low end torque, with a slight loss of HP at high revs.

Brings the whole HP/Torque curve down a little with a slight loss of HP at max RPM (limits rpm slightly). In my opinion, I would not go any farther than 4 degrees [total] advance on the cam.

At least, this is the way I understand it.
