Calling all stock headed 380+ rwhp cars....
Could you list a few simple things pLeaze
Most importantly
-Year of LS1 and trans
-What headers
-What cam
-Tuning Y or N
and
-Dyno #'s (please specify Dynojet or Mustang dyno)
Just trying to keep it simple, no need to write a novel. Just want to see some of the combos and what is working well. This is assuming you have a lid, filter, some type of catback.

Re: Calling all stock headed 380+ rwhp cars....
Last year when I was T1 cam, Mac headers, and Ed Wright tuning I dyno'd 390rwhp/380rwtq with 3.42's. This was done thru SLP Dual Dual and no cutout.. No ported TB, no alum flywheel, and no shortbelt mod. Filter was in lid during dyno and on 17 inchers with 30#'s of air in them.. The funny thing is when I added MTI pulley I dyno exactly the same.. I rec'd no gain..

There has been a couple of people talking about little or no gain with a pulley on the dyno but say it helped out at the track.

1999 Trans Am M6
SLP headers
Hammer Cam
The only tuning I had to do was Ltrims with edit. I was still just a tad lean during the dyno and had about 2 degrees of knock.
Dynojet 386 RWHP 388 RWTQ

Re: Calling all stock headed 380+ rwhp cars....
Not quite 380, but close. It was on a Mustang, so if it was on a Dynojet it would be at least 380.
