Hmmmmm for mid 400 rwhp and 400 rwtq on a DD youd need some milled afr 205's, say maybe a 230/230 ish cam, ported fast 90/90, LT's, duals and a tune

If your talking 450 in a ls1 it's not an easy task. Especially if you want it to be a daily driver. Anyway that being the case it's going to take a lot of came and some real good heads. AFR's are a good choice, so are Trick Flow's. Your going to have to mill them pretty good to get the compression up and you'll definatley need all the bolt ons you can get. Should be easier to do with a 6speed though.

well this is my mod list should get you close AFR's 205 ,224/228 cam the heads are milled to 59cc and i am running the fast 90/90 i will have dyno numbers in two weeks.

should be 440 rwhp range or a little better i think.and will still be a nice driver with the 3500 converter

the cost was ah little hard to swallow but once done and running i wil forget about that real fast!!!!

The cam is a little on the small side and a 3500 stall means you have an automatic. I just don't see 440 rwhp through a street cam, automatic and 3500 stall. My guess is you'll dyno closer to 400. If I'm right don't be too disappointed because what we autos lack on the dyno we more then make up for at the track in ET

86MonteSS,

I would consider ETP 215 heads, decent size cam (232/232 112 or bigger) and a fast 90/90 setup. Of course it goes without saying that you'll need all the bolt-ons including the underdrive pulley and a great dyno tune.

I could see 440+ rwhp from that setup. Of course the 10 bolt might go boom soon after but that's just part of the fun of owning an M6 F-body

Good luck.

See sig. My heads were custom ported but are very close to TEA 5.3s. I love the F13 for a DD cam. 90/90 does hurt the pockets but you have to pay to play.

Saying Daily Driver is tough though as some people can only deal with driving a 224/224 max while others daily drive t-rex cams. The smaller the cam the more money youir going to have to spend to get to mid 400's rwhp. That means ported fast 90/90 combo, 25% pulley, a badass set of milled heads to up the compression, and the cam of your choice. FWIW my 232/238 cam was very easily daily driven.
