do u need a spacer or tall valve covers for Jesel ShftMntd Rockers ?

Niether, you can modify your stock covers with a bit of grinding...but the spacers or the tall covers will work for a $.

outstanding... thanks for the info... u won't believe I got these and a tubular kmember from a guy for 200 bucks... what a feakn deal that was. I didnt even know about it till my bro told me about the deal. Both Brand New!!

non adjustable I think... not sure though. How can u tell? A machine shop they were sitting in a bucket for the last 5mon because the guy was told they wouldnt fit under his valve covers said they arent adj

hey guys, my engine is ready to be put back in the car, Is this a definet, is grinding really needed? I have the Jesel SS series, $699 non adj ones. I really need to know so I can tell my mechanic what to look for. Any detail is much appreaciated.

If you have 99 up valve covers then yes they will fit with some grinding.Ask Nineball he has done this.

Really, the only advantage I can see to using an adjustable rocker is to make stock pushrods work on an aftermarket (reduced base circle) cam. Other than that, I am of the firm (personal) belief that the more possible adjustments you have, the more chances there are of screwing something up.
However, that being said, tradtionial SBC's have had adjustable valvetrains since sometime just this side of the dawn of time.
Myself, I am going to run the SS Jesel's with some Schubeck (read: SERIOUSLY reduced plunge) lifters and custom pushrods (on the G5); it'll be a pain in the *** to set up the first time, but after that it'll stay set until I blow it up or take it apart.
