This is for racing,not tooling around on the street.
I want mad power between 4000-6500.

I would like a minor split because I plan on running nitrous.
I still haven't been able to get good,definetive answers.

Some people say you don't need 580ish lift to make good power,

Simply stated-I want the most powerful cam for drag racing.

Re: 224/228 XE-R cam You don't need the 580 lift compared to 565, but the faster ramps probably add a couple HP and make having a big cam much more livable.
I wouldn't worry about the split pattern unless you will be spraying more than 150 shot on a regular basis.
