Default Installing ARP head studs, need help please

I need your help people, first step, how much do i screw in the studs in the block?
what was the torque sequence you used (ex. 45FTLbs 1st pass 50FTLBs 2nd pass, then 90 degrees etc..) Never installed heads before using head studs. Any info would be great. Thanks

Assuming you've coated the studs in a moly assembly lube, the following sequence will work well:

1. Screw the studs into the block finger tight
2. Tighten all nuts to 22lb.ft. in factory sequence
3. Tighten all the big nuts to 45lb.ft. in factory sequence
4. Tighten all the big nuts to 75lb.ft. in factory sequence
5. Retighten the little nuts to 22lb.ft.

Actually ARP says that if you are using their stud kit on aluminum, to torque them to 65 ft lbs., not 75lbs. on the final pass due to aluminum's expansion rate.

So are you saying, tighten all 15 bolts to 22ftLbs, then go back and tighten the big nuts to 45 ftlbs, then go around again and tighten them to 70 ftlbs. And last but not least tighten the small ones to 22ftlbs? Why are the little bolts last to get tightened? and atfer im done with this torque sequence, thats it, Will i be done?

The small bolts along the top are allways the last to get torqued, even when installing the factory GM bolts. Don't worry about it.

One quick question. all of you are saying hand tighten the studs in the block, well, I used my allen head, and hand spun it all the way down, and as soon as it touched the bottom, I STOPPED. Is this ok?
