I gained 12-14hp throughout the entire power band switching from ls1 to ls6 and that was back when I was stock heads/cam and only had mac headers.

Definitely worth it, especially with heads/cam/headers.

That is the norm. Youll see decent gains stock and the difference will only grow with engine mods.

I have heard the typical is closer to low 20s. And like mentioned, the more mods the more power you will see. I am installing one this week. But I have no numbers to compare to yet, so I wont know exactly.

My track times dropped considerably with the LS6 intake.

My old car picked up 9/11 with 224/228 cam, lt's, etc. I hope my "new" one sees 20whp!!! I don't believe that's realistic without heads.

oh and by the way, if you intend to buy one, check it out new from SLP. Used ones go for within $20 or $30 of brand new.

Sure the LS6 intake is worth it.

On an otherwise, stock car it won't show the type of gains will show on a car with a lot of mod's like heads, cam etc. Tuning is always a big part in getting the most gain out of mods.

I definitely thought it was worth it. I could really tell a difference above 4000rpm. I'd guess probably 10 hp from the SOTP meter?
