Default What heads and injectors for MS3

So my mods are listed in my sig, I want to do heads soon I want to know what would give the best ET gains, I'm not worried abour driveability or price the car isnt really daily driven unless I feel like taking it to work or something but I am wondering what heads would get me the best ET and what injectors would be needed I know my yr came with 26lb and I'm thinking there needing upgrading just with my mods now. Let me know if any of you have any advise.
thanks

I will also be goin with a 90mm intake setup if it matters.

Thinking maybe AFR 205's or ETP 11" 215"s how would those be compared to like the Dart pro 1 or Patriot stage 3 CNC'D LS6 head? Isnt anyone running any of those heads with this cam, I always hear about people running the 5.3 heads but I want something better........anyone?

My cam is a Futral custom that is very close to the MS3. I run TEA 5.3's, and they do alright. If you have the $$, why not go with the AFR's?

I'm considering it but would like to know some numbers from ppl first like what kind of gains I could expect and how much of a better ET is say an AFR or ETP head worth over say a patriot? I'd rather spend 1300 on stg 3 Patriots rather then 2400 on AFR or something if the more expensive head is only worth 10RWHP ot .10 in the 1/4.....as an example.

Well, I can tell you that I run 10.38's on a 150 shot with similar mods as you except I have a TH350 with a 4500 stall. The 5.3's aren't all that bad.

If you have the money to blow then get the AFRs. I've got the 5.3s with my MS3 and I'm happy. You'll need atleast SVO 36s as well

I am running cnc ported LS6 heads from TSP, and 36-lb injectors. You can get the heads for about $1050.00.

If you go with ETP mill them down to 60cc and run a .040 head gasket. That's what I'll be doing here soon. My #'s are in my sig you can see the gains from my H/C/I. I just recently took it to the track but was only able to make one pass but I had 6mph increase in trap speed with a shity 2.2 60ft this also in 3000+DA on a 1/8mi track.

How much better or more of a gain is there really from going with say a set of patriot CNC'd or TSP Ls6 heads to the ETP 215 or AFR 205's? Worth the extra thousand dollars or so?

in my opinion ,the xtra 1000$ for the better heads might see 10-15 hp more .not worth it unless your are gonna race the car in some class and you need to squeeze every single ounce of hp out of it.you can get that kind of power from someone that tunes very well.my ms3 and prc 5.3 heads in a a4 got me 433 hp on a mustang dyno, probably around 455-460 on a dynojet for comparison.i spent the xtra 1000 for a fast intake and a 90 tb from prc.the prc and patriot heads are great for the money!!35-40 hp just from the heads alone.my car runs 10.60 at 125 with this setup at 3375 lbs. hope this helps you out.pm me if you need more help.

Are you on a shot at all for those times and are you auto or man?
Wouldnt the stg 3 LS6 produce better results then the stg 2.5 5.3 head?

No.. You Cant Just Out The Biggest Head Possible, Thats Like Saiying Wouldent A Afr 225 Head Work Better Than A Afr 205 Head For A 346

The Stage 3 Heads Are For 402 Ci Motors..

The Terminator Heads And A Ms4 Cam Are A Good Combo But You Woule Prolly Need To Flycut..

If You Got Another Grand Laying Around Why Dont You Spray The Car And Go With The Cheeper Stg. 2.5 5.3l Heads...

And If Your Really Loaded Buy A 347 Shortblock And Go Big On The Spray.. Those Are Much Better Bang For Your Buck Uses On Money

Not To Mention You Still Could Buy A Fast 90 Setup And Pick Up More Ponies...

I know you dont want to go with the biggest head on a 346 what I'm wondering is wouldnt the 243 LS6 casting outperform the 5.3 head? I never did understand why put a 5.3 head on a 5.7, can someone explain the benefits of this or differences?
