Default Tr224---224r?

What is this famous TR224 cam everyone is always talking about? Is it the XE lobe cam or the XER lobe from Texas S & P? There are two that have 224/224
Anyway, my main question is for the cam gurus.
I am trying to decide what cam to put in to my 99 Z28.
I drive it everyday.
It just turned 100K.
I have a built A4 w/2200-2400 Stall (prob. going to upgrade SOON)
3.73 gears at the house waiting on install
MSD coil packs
lowered..LCA reloc. LCAs, upgraded polyurethane
PHR
K&N..lid
NOS dry kit 100shot ( .032 x2 jets)--75RWHP

Right now I am about half a car behind my friends DSC-1 procharged T/A running 8 lbs. I want to be in front! ha....
Seriously, I am considering the 224R w/ a 112 LSA. Would this be a good choice?

(The Texas Speed 224R: 224/224 .581/.581 )

I absolutely love my 224/224 .581/.581 114 cam. Of coarse I have some heads to help it out some, but I like the powerband of the cam alot. My car is a daily driver with 107k on the clock & we opened it up for the H/C install after I broke the 100k mark. Haven't had a single issue & its still untuned.

Thunder Racing 224 cam. Their lobes are proprietary so there is no duplicating it. Many have tried and failed but the best 224 cam on the planet is the TR224 112 lsa. Hands down. Sponsor on the right THUNDER RACING.

Do you think you could hit 400 at the wheels with z06 ls6 heads or would they have to be aftermarket like Patriots.

With full bolt ons in a 99 corvette

Thunder racing makes the TR224 cam. I made 380rwhp/370 rwtq cam only with it. 425/403 now with mods in sig.

Was that DRs? 12 bolt/9inch? 4.10 gears? I ask because I'm curious what my times will look like on my stock 10-bolt with street tires and also wonder if the rear will survive with DRs.

im partial to Texas Speed, but Thunder does do some nice cams. as stated earlier, their lobes are custom.

Great cam, had it for a while. Drove the car from San Diego to New York with no problems. I also used to drive it everyday. 25MPG, A/C, reliable, passes emissions, makes over 400 to the tire, and I beat dodge vipers lol, stock ones anyway. Check my sig and make your descision, feel free to PM me with any specific questions.
