MTI X1 owners... come on in. I've searched this cam and found only a few results, mostly older threads. I'd like to see more results with this cam. Sound clips, dyno numbers, your thoughts of the cam, how the powerband is, etc. Any info you'd like to give out, I'm in to read. Also, a list of your mods obivously

If you do a search for MTI X1 at Google Video you will find some clips.
The cam is a 230/227/591/571/112. A reverse split with an XER intake and XEH exhaust, or something similar. Reverse splits used to be fashionable for LS1 cars, but not so much anymore, I suspect because intake tracts can flow so much better now. If you had a car with weak heads, like say 241s, and a good exhaust system then I could see it, but otherwise I'd run a conventional forward split.
They do sound cool.

i was interested in the MTI 2E/X1 combo for awhile..i know its a proven setup. theres a bunch of guys who are in 10's with this mild cam. look up a guy named jaSSon or wilwaxu!! i know the x1 is a pretty much damn stout cam for a street car. u cant go wrong with it.

I like the sound of that V1! I had a similar cam in my other TA, comp 232/234 .595/.598 112. I liked it, but it didn't make a lot of power down low. Who tuned your vette?

yeah man, ive never rode in any cammed car. thats why i keep changing my mind. i hear bigger isnt better, but then again i hear its all in the tune!! i figure why spend the amount of cash and trouble to get a cam install and everything and only to find out u could have gone bigger. im seriously looking back and forth on the mti x1, or just going with the MS3!!yeah definitely a beasty auto for sure!!
