Default cam install problems haha

well I was working well into the night tired and I dont think that was the best idea ever. I had tightened down my rockers and forgot to put the pedestal/spacer between where the stud screws in and the bottom of the rocker. Needless to say I bottomed the bolt out and it cracked the head where the rocker studs screw into. Haha good ole' JB Weld will solve that at least I hope.... but on a positive not the Cam sounds mean going through SLP LTs, ORY, and Magnaflow catback I love it

I let it set for about 22 hours before I fired it up and nothing went wrong so far so until something goes wrong I'm not really going to worry about it besides the pedestal the rockers sit on actually helps reinforce it quite a bit

just remember that bolting on new stock heads is cheap. replacing a motor cause you had chunks of metal flying around in it is not cheap

yeah but even if it broke it would have to somehow get the stud to come up high enough to get the rocker get bounced around the head to break a spring to ruin anything and it cant go that high with the valve cover there I think worst case scenario would be a bent pushrod or broken lifter but if it were to shitcan theres an excuse to get a 408ci... but like I said so far so good I dont really want to buy a shortblock yet... but if I have to **** it whatever but again so far so good
