I know this is a little bass ackwards, but what heads would work the best with an X1 cam? I've noticed a few guys running ported 5.3's. How about milled AFR's? Just curious what the experts think. Discuss..

Yes, this is my current setup. I was just wondering if 5.3's, or milled AFR's, or whatever would work better with the X1. I got my heads from MTI in 2002, before they called them stage 2E's. I know cylinder head technology has come a long way since then, so I wanted to know if there was a better option to go along with this cam.
BTW, I know how to use the search function. From what I can tell, this EXACT topic hasn't been discussed in a while.

The PRC 5.3l stage 2.5 head is defniately worth looking into. I know MTI has posted some good dyno results with the X1 & PRC heads. You can buy PRC heads from us or from MTI, either way you should see about a 45hp gain on the dyno! We currently have a big special going on PRC 5.3l heads & they are in stock!!

Im a few miles east of Binghamton. I don't have any website for my car, and I'm not sure Seth does either...but he'll have to answer that question. Ill PM you a few pics of my car, maybe you have seen it before.
New Era is awesome, they did my cam swap for me as well because I didn't have the time or ambition to do it myself. I would recomend them to anyone. I have a thread somewhere in the dyno section about my experience with New Era and the results along with my mods and video clip of my car with the cam installed.
