best cam for my heads
ok guys i broke down and bought the heads first, patriot stage 2 heads, fully assembled, 2.02 valves, 67 cc, etc etc, based on the 853 casting. now i have a stock bottom end, and will have a performabuilt tranny (debating stall, would like a 3200/3600) i will have a 100 wet shot on the car as well. the cams i was looking into are the futral f13 cam and the ms3 cam? am i looking around the right area for the setup im after?

How much HP are you wanting and do you have any current mods?
Just need to be sure you dont get a cam with too much lift for the valve springs on those heads. A more aggessive cam will be less drivable but with more power so it really depends on how drivable you want the car to be, really should be looking into a cam to match the stall you are looking for.
Just for example...I am about to buy a H/C package with my tax refund and I am going with a 228R that has a duration of 228/228 and a lift of .588/.588 and a lobe separation angle of 112. The duration is not huge and not too much lift so the car performs well under the power curve and is still really drivable, then a lobe separation of 112 degrees to give it a "choppy" idle.I will make an easy 400+rwhp with a tune along with my other bolt ons.

ehh it wont be DD'in def. a 112lsa or more for choppy idle, i want 400+ on motor 500+ on a 100 wet shot..thats my goals, 420 on motor would be BADASS! 3600 stall would be the max i want to go with.

ms3 was an option, but it will be tuned by futral, which is somewhat local, would like to use one of his cams, just seems for better business, product to service correlation type concern!

why does the CC chamber give me a disadvantage? why not a 112lsa, and what about maybe a high lift f13 on a 114 ls1, i would really like a 112 lsa though
