I don't have experience with those, but the new adjustables are pretty cool.

Actually, 700$ is a fat freaking deal.

Huh.

Sure makes you think about 450 for YTs.

I got a set of YT's for $450 and didn't miss the lack of adjustability. If you order the right length pushrods, you shouldn't need to adjust them. Also, LS1 hydralic lifters are very forgiving on clearance. I wouldn't get the Jessels unless I was doing solid lifters. BTW, I have ZERO valve train noise with the YT's!

I'm pretty sure the $700 at SDPC is the non adjustable version.....

Yeah, I have a comment... I've got a set of them sitting in the back of my car that have never been installed. Yours for $450 to your door. The only reason I didn't use them is because I'm using Schubeck lifters, which are SUPER touchy regarding pushroad length... so I opted for a set of adjustable rockers instead.

Jesel makes both adjustable and non-adjustable rockers. The rockers in the picture at the top are non-adjustable. Last I checked, the adjustables were around 1000-1200, the non-adjustables around 750.

probably a stupid question... but would there be any reason not to expect the same power gains of the jesel adjustables vs. the yella terra's???

Jessels are a premium race unit and have a very stable single pivot system for all eigth valves per side... Terras, have a two valve pivot system

the power gains are mostly small (3-5HP) and due to the roller tip that the factory rockers do not have...

the main reason to get replacement rockers is their strength and they are not as noisy as stock rockers with a big cam...

stockers tend to let go and dump their bearings in the engine....

Doesnt the Jessels require new valve covers while teh yella terra's fit on stock covers?

Jesels will not fit under stock LS1 valve covers without completely gutting the baffling for the PCV system. I did this and was getting a LOT of oil in the intake until I did the LS6 PCV setup with an in-line filter.

For street and drag applications, Jesels are probably overkill. Cartek installed them on my C5R 427 because I was planning on doing track days at Road Atlanta.
